Charis is a motion artist and designer based in Los Angeles, CA.

She received her BFA in communication design from Parsons School of Design with a concentration in motion graphics.

Digital marketing, video editing, motion graphics, and social media content production are her areas of expertise.  She knows what it takes to handle the ever-changing digital media landscape, and how to stand out in the sea of content that has become omnipresent in all of our modern lives.

With her years of experience in the music industry, she is used to solving problems on short notice and keeping up with the demands of a fast-paced work environment. She aims to create fun and engaging digital content while paying homage to historical design inspirations, seamlessly fusing the past and the present through visuals and typography.

Charis has worked for not just one, but all 3 major records labels: Warner, Sony, and most recently Universal. She first stepped foot in the industry as a digital content and video intern at Atlantic Records, then as a digital marketing intern at Epic Records. Before even graduating, Charis was brought on as a full-time designer for Sony's Legacy Recordings. Her journey then brought her to Universal Music where she worked as a graphic/ motion/ HTML designer in their rapidly growing e-commerce division, creating dynamic web advertisements and digital content for the biggest bands in history.  She continues to do freelance work for everything ranging from Instagram stickers, interactive stories, playlist covers, merch designs, full-length lyric videos, and more.

Just a few artists she has designed for include:

The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Who, Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Elvis Presley, the Strokes, Beach Boys, Sex Pistols, Selena Gomez, Britney Spears, Aerosmith, and more.

Charis loves: French New Wave films, 80s’ post-punk, Seinfeld, lavender lattes, and spinning her record collection.
